The Scripture is the best story to be your authority.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting and training in righteousness,  17  so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for
every good work.

All Scripture is “God-breathed” to bless us.

2 Peter 1:21 (NIV) For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human,
spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 5:18 (NIV)   For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not
the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Psalm 1:1-3 (NIV) Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the
way that sinners take  or sit in the company of mockers, 2  but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night. 3  That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.
